Hire Our Designers to get your RipCards Designed, or do it yourself

There are FOUR ways you can get a RipCard:

1. Design it yourself right here online - HINT: You do want to watch the Tutorial Video (Video Demo) first to help you along.
2. You can Use an EXISTING template that is located under "Sample Templates To Use", and just change a few items, like your contact information etc.
3. You can hire one of our Custom Editor Designers (CED) make one for you online using the Online Editor at RipCard (includes four revisions)
4. You can hire one of our Premium Designers (PD) to do a customized design for you where you can do much more custimization and use many different fonts, etc. includes four revisions.

** If you want certain images used, some of them might have to be purchased and they vary from $10 and up each and that would be extra, but only if you need it. For instance the picture of the lady below with the towel around her head we had to purchase. If you wanted this image for instance, you would have to purchase it individually from www.iStockPhoto.com where we bought it.

SEE below for details of HOW exactly you would go about using either our qualified "Design Editors" as well as our special designers.

Our designers Understand the concept of these cards inside and out.
They are very affordable and great to work with.

What we suggest you do first is, play around with the online editor. Even use the sample templates. Login and save your file and then submit the outline to us telling us what you would want changed or added by our great designers.

OR......

Creative Suggestion:

Sketch out your idea on a piece of paper....

Many people are not good at designing their own cards, so what we have found to work quite well is the following: Simply take a piece of paper and SKETCH out the front and back side of your card. The front side will include some catchy words and or a phrase that goes well with the business you are in. And the backside will include your personal information such as name, title (or what business you are in), tag line, phone, email, website, address. etc.

Important, especially with regards to the Front Side:
You want to look at some of the Sample Cards and cards that already have been used successfully by others. It is important that you come up with a catchy front side to the RipCard™ especially since that is the attention getter. You want to play on some words / images that makes them think about how your business is solving a problem for them...and also since it is REALLY, REALLY important for you to understand Which Portion of the front half you will give away (when you Tear it in half along the perforation)...and Which portion of the backside you will Keep. I would even strongly suggest you tape the front side and the back side together making a Sample RipCard that you can hold in your hand and fully see how the front side / backside will interact with each other and especially see for yourself how it relates to you and your clients when you Rip It In Half and give one half away and you keep the other half.

OK, once you have sketched out your samples, take a digital picture of your "RipCard™ sketch suggestion", email it to us at: GraphicDesigner@RipCard.com and we will get to work on it.

** Please also include your first and last name, title, phone, email, website, address and any other thing you think is important...Like for instance the business you are in.
HOWEVER, please keep in mind that we do not have much space to play around with on the backside, ok? (See below for example of backside).
** You and only YOU are responsible for the correct spelling of all the words, characters and images you submit so make sure to double check them. Once it goes to print it is too Late, however, we will obviously send it to you first for editing and a final approval.

If you want to view some samples you have a couple of options:

1. Open the editor by clicking here and simply load a sample Image that you actually can make yours too if you like.
The way we have it set up now in our editor is that you can click on the link up top called "Sample Templates" from the drop down menu. You can see many of the card categories we have and you can bring them into the editor by clicking on the live link above the card.

2. Or you can view some other samples by categories located under the samples Page.
to be taken there directly.
(**See Notes below with regards to some limitations to some of the graphics that are being used)

Here is a sample we have made to give you an idea...and in this picture we have sketched out a sample for a RipCard™ and emailed that to our Creative Designers....and here is what they came up with.

Then our designers worked on it and Transformed it to this:

For instance, if you wanted your Logo or a different picture instead of the picture of the woman, you would have to submit a logo or picture in at LEAST 300 DPI resolution. A great site to find images that you can buy and use is: www.Istockphoto.com. Again, just make sure you chose the image that says 300 DPI. It is clearly marked next to the picture you would download.

Typically the way it would work, is that you first would include a sketch, as described above, and submit that to our graphic designer (by email) as listed below. Then they would send you back a sample of what they thought you meant. Then you would edit that again and give them directions as to what you wanted done differently, or even suggest some other images you would have bought.

Again, you would have four (4) opportunities to make revisions after you have submitted your sketch. Let's say you submitted your sketch. Then our designer sends you back the first draft. Then you tell our designer to change a few things, and or try a different image. Those first directions to our designer is considered revision #1. You have three more to go.

You can reach them at: GraphicDesigner@RipCard.com

*Once you submitted your sketch to our designer and told them to go ahead and start on the design, you would be under "a general agreement of understanding" that you would pay the fee wheather or not you ordered the card for printing or not. And wheather or not you used all the revisions or not. By contacting our designers and telling them to start the design of your business card constitutes this agreement.

**Again, some of the graphics that are used we are not allowed to pass on as they have been bought from other designers. So, if you want to use them, you have to purchase them yourself so you have the right to use them. If you are in doubt, simply send us an email and we will make sure it is done correctly.
